If you have any question or need information on how to rent an Apartment, please fee free to contact
us either by Inquiry Form below or Telephone, which is free-consulting service to you. If you
have never visited or lived in Japan, it will be very difficult to start searching for information
on rental apartment in Tokyo by yourself. Of course, you could find property information in general
on internet, but you may want to know a lot more basic things about Tokyo such as how safe it is to
live in Tokyo now after the Great Earthquake occurred last year, how difficult it is to find an
apartment without having learned the Japanese language at all, whether there are many
apartments that have 4 bed rooms in Tokyo because I have three children.
We would also like to help foreign residents in Japan who want to move to Tokyo or
relocate within Tokyo. We would like to help these people by providing specific information on
rental apartments and answering their questions about the details.
For example, we can answer those questions as follows:
1.Question: How safe is it in Tokyo now one year after the Great earthquake?
Answer: People in Tokyo still keep aware of information on earthquake everyday in case,
but they live and work in Tokyo now as normally as they did before the Earthquake.
Statistically, the number of foreign travelers to Japan in January 2012 is recovering
better than the bad time of the last year.
2.Question: This is the first time to live in Japan. I do not speak Japanese and have not
learned any Japanese either. How difficult is it for people like me to live in Tokyo?
Answer: Although Japan is not an English speaking country, most of the college-graduated
people have some skills to read English and some of them speak English a little.
You may meet some people with a good command of English. If you are good at
communicating with others, you will not have a lot of difficulty in communicating
with Japanese people in Tokyo. If you learn some Japanese words, a little language
goes a long way.
3.Question: I have three children, 17, 14, and 11 years old, are there many apartments with
four rooms in addition to living and dining room?
Answer: Four rooms is not the standards for a Japanese family with three children in
Japan, but there are apartments that have four rooms available for expatriates in
Tokyo.
4.Question: Is a guarantor mandatory to rent an apartment?
Answer: Not always. It depends on the property or the landlord.
It may be acceptable to buy a rental guarantee insurance to substitute a
guarantor.
5.Question: I have a family with two children, 6 and 10 years old boy and girl. Is there any
apartment that is close to an international school in the Hiroo area?
Answer: Yes, there is the Sacred Heart International School in Hiroo.
There are many apartments within walking distance to the international school.
6.Question: Is there any apartment that is near a clinic with an English speaking doctor in
Shinagawa?
Answer: Yes, there are some English speaking clinics available there.
